ECSO is the new European Cyber Security Organization. It’s the result from the Commissions boost of Cybersecurity industry and improved efforts to tackle Cyber-threats in the area of technologies and solutions for online network security within the Digital Single Market strategy. Activities begin during 2017 and project proposals related to ECSO under Horizon 2020 are envisaged in the first two quarter of 2017.

ECSO is a partnership between the European Commission and Cybersecurity market players. This partnership will include members from national, regional and local public administrations, research centers’ and academia.

ESCO will:

  • build trust among Member States and industrial actors
  • align the demand and supply sectors for Cybersecurity products and services
  • develop common, sector-neutral and replicable building blocks
  • work with standardization, certification, labelling and supply chain management and a lot more
